These - the first pair in the link:

What would you wear them with?

Would you wash them even tho' the label says Dry Clean only (fabric is linen and viscose)?

Would you wear them if you were me (5'7'', 9st 10, size 10/12, age 47)?

Anyone seen any similar but less muttonous more practical alternatives?

Hopeful bump

I have a not dissimilar pair, but more chino-y. I wear them rolled with brown platform sandals, or gladiators, with maybe a breton top or something loose on top. Big chunky wooden beads.

I don't think they're muttony at all, they're quite classic. But I wouldn't get them dry cleaned. I'd bung them in on a handwash cycle and hope for the best.

Thanks - out of interest, where did yours come from?

I suppose I'm just not used to seeing that silhouette on myself, but I must admit, I really appreciate the feeling of loose fabric around the crotch, after all these years of bootcuts and skinnies!

Mine were from Fatface. They're a touch more casual but I wear them to work anyway (a school, though, not an office). I also have a dark grey pair with a similar silhouette from Reiss that I wear rolled as well. I really like the loose feeling at the top too! I do tend to slouch around with my hands in my pockets though.
