Little bit tipsy... but can I just say that Jigsaw Covent Garden was FAB today!!!

Dress down Fridays at work, so whilst half asleep this morning, it was great slipping into my trusted jean/dress-kaftan-thingy/sandals combo.

Except, as soon as I arrived in the office, I remembered that today I had a very important, very formal meeting at 2pm.

Cue me running panicky into Jigsaw at 12, basically saying "I need a suit, a shirt/nice top, shoes. In 20 minutes if at all possible." (And I'm a complete pain buying clothes, I detest it.)

Loveliest possible girl ran around bringing me options, ignoring my wails of fat hips, being all round fab.

And you know what? 20 minutes later she was running up to me with the de-tagger thingy, me leaving the shop with my jeans in a bag.

I think I loved her at that moment.

So really, this is just me saying great customer service does exist. I hope this girl goes far in life, she deserves it.

I remember visiting that store far too many years ago on a day out in London. I bought two skirts and a sweatshirt that I still wear to this day. I hope your meeting went well and you felt fabulous.

Thanks SatinandTat. Yes thanks, it went really well and I felt confident.

I've decided to stop buying cheap rubbish - good clothes make me feel confident and I end up wearing it loads, like you're doing too. Works out cheaper per wear in the end, doesn't it?

Glad you had a great experience MisSalLaneous I would pass this experience onto Jigsaw's head office, Probably a link on their website.
I think people are often quick to complain but rarely write a compliment letter. You writing in could lead to a payrise or promotion for this great girl

I love Jigsaw too!

Great idea, Lavitabella. I thought I'd take her some chocolates on Monday anyway, but will do this, as I really think she was a brilliant advertisement for them.

Wow! I need to go and act like an eccentric a bit more often.

valiumSingleton · 17/07/2010 08:53

ps, write to head office and tell them.

traceybath · 17/07/2010 08:53

Thats fab - I always find the jigsaw staff very helpful and think the quality of their stuff is good too.

MisSalLaneous · 17/07/2010 09:47

What do you mean "eccentric"??

Traceybath, yes, I like shopping there, I always feel good when leaving, even if I don't actually buy anything. A huge contrast to bigger stores, where I get frustrated. I'm so not a natural shopper, and I hate having to try things on.
