... find it easy, or hard? Did you still crave a 'proper' cigarette? Did you have the usual quit smoking side effects - cough, feeling grotty, irritability etc? I've bought an innoka T18 and am quitting/ starting vaping tomorrow and am curious about what to expect!

This time I found it quite easy but I'd quit with vaping before and slipped back. The problem first time round was poor kit and poor choices in flavours of Eliquid. You've got yourself a decent starter kit which I should have done Smile

Yes to cravings, coughs, and grottiness but I didn't get irritable at all. I did vape pretty much constantly though so had plenty of nicotine in my system. I did crave the odd cig but vaped through it.

It takes a while to get the technique so persevere. I think many of us took a little while to switch over to vaping exclusively, I took about 5 days. I've not had a cigarette for ten months now

Good luck. Flowers

Thanks I didn't a bit of research and lurking on this topic before I bought it. It's good to know the irritability wasn't there for you - I suffer with this so badly when I quit usually!

I'm going to make sure it's well charged for tomorrow so I can go full bore all day if I need to. Congratulations on making it 10 months - and hopefully smoke free for good Smile

I think you'll do ok with the Endura. It produces enough vapour to make you feel satisfied and it's uncomplicated. Coils are cheap and last ages.

Shout out if you need any advice or support. The vaping threads here are a fantastic resource. I think I've read every post Blush

It's five years since I last smoked (& I'd smoked for 40 years). I still lvape.

Some of us went down the road of 'dual fuelling' when we gave up. I vapes & smoked for two weeks & was only having one fag a day & realised I din't need it.

Vaping is different from smoking as you don't get as much nicotine in each puff so you will tend to have more quick puffs an hour than you would cigarettes.

Drink plenty of water & vaping can make your lips a bit dry so make sure you have some lip balm handy.

Good Luck!

PS A vape & a coffee has the same 'opening' effect as a fag & coffee - which was a worry for me at the start Grin

Hope day one passed reasonably well.

It went really well thanks - it's so much like smoking it satisfied every craving I had. I could rave about vaping - it's properly hit the spot for me Grin

magi I can't start the day without a coffee - a vape and a coffee was bloody good first thing this morning!

I quite smoking via vaping years ago. I found it pretty easy, i focused on the smell for a start!!! I lasted all of about 3 weeks with a pen vape and go sick of charging it and just stopped using it. And that was it. It was over.

I was an arse and started again. Had my last cig on xmas morning, the odd vape now and again but i could go without that now too. I HATE the smell of smoke again, DH smokes and I already hate the smell of him

You've got this!!! Think of the money! And the lack of smoke smell in your hair and clothes and bloody everything.
