After trying to give up smoking for years (sometimes successfully, sometimes not) I decided yesterday enough was enough and went to my local e cigs shop for some advice. The girl was a few minutes off closing up, so basically let me try two or three ecigs, before selling me one, bagging it up and ushering me out of the shop.
It's totally my fault for not going somewhere else and getting better advice, but anyway. I'm now home with an e cig that I don't understand, tastes like shit and I have no clue what to do with it!
Is there an idiots guide anywhere that will help me, as I'm currently totally miffed at spending £40 on something I hate the taste of, with no idea on wattage, volts, nothing!

When I first switched it was a big disposable cigalike with perfumed menthol. Was awful but I immediately "got it". Thought to myself If I could find one that tasted like L&B I'd switch for good. Never found it, nearest I got was wet ashtray flavour. Tried cherry, vanilla then all sorts. Now on orange cream, watermelon candy and caramel(supposed to be tobacco). Wife on the other hand smoked lights, vapes only liqua menthol, adds a drop of Apple on occasion.
Hope you crack it 😀

No YOU haven't ballsed it up - the stupid girl in the shop has! I have friends in the industry and I know the standard of support & help you should have got, I've given much better over the phone than you got face to face.

We usually advise here that new vapers go to a decent B&M shop when they start, but it looks like either your local one isn't decent, or they have one staff member who isn't any good. I would make sure I went in & complained to the manager first chance I got, or phone them up.

If you can say what part of the country you're in, MNers may be able to recommend a good local shop?
