Want to get one. Only have high street stores in town. Can you get them from supermarkets?

Smoke about 5 a day and want to quit. It's my secret, guilty pleasure but I also hate it.

Yes you can get them supermarkets, but you're likely to end up with a cig-a-_like which might not be very effective. I get all my stuff online, I like vape escape, and nature vape. www.vapeescape.co.uk . or www.naturevape.co.uk. but there are literally hundreds of online shops!

I use vapourize website they have starter kits which are good vaule

If you put your location in here you might find a shop near to you. Shops can be great for advice and support but tend to cost more than buying online.

As gin says, the ones you get in supermarkets are not great - if you don't have a vape shop nearby you'd do better to just buy online. Myepack are quite good, or UKEcigstore.

Whatever you buy, make sure you have two batteries, two tanks (or one tank plus spare coils), a charger and some liquid. If you smoke 5 a day I'd start with 12mg (1.2%) strength and then adjust up or down as necessary. What's your budget? I'm sure someone can suggest a kit.

I got mine from local off licence, they've all got them I think.

Thank you. I stumbled into a newsagent and got a Vype started kit.

It says it's 12mg (3.5 v/v). What does that mean relative to a Marlboro light?

Also will I get all withdrawal symptoms apart from cravings?

If you only smoke 5 a day, why not just stop? Or use a nicotine replacement gum or spray if you are worried about cravings?

tbtc · 17/05/2015 00:12

It's a physical habit/ritual and obviously a nicotine addiction as well, but more the habit. I have my times of day that I look forward to.
I'm hoping as I start to feel the benefits of stopping it will encourage me to be able to cut down the habit ie do something else and not miss the ciggy.

you'll probably use it more than you would smoke to start with, I did. but don't worry it will even out. I've completely gone off cigarettes now. you can buy the lower strength nicotine oil in a few weeks or try flavours and can even buy zero nicotine, and see if you can wean yourself off them. good luck.

BeeRayKay · 17/05/2015 09:11

You won't get cravings :-) Or I found I didn't. And i love vaping now and can't smoke. The liquids can be really nice. I'm on cherry at the moment.

LotsaDots · 17/05/2015 09:49

ooh I want to try cherry and vanilla, I only get cravings with a drink now
