0% nicotine e-cig

I was a social / stress smoker for a number of years (smoking at the most 2-3 a day when I was going through a period of smoking), but gave up when I was pregnant. I don't miss the nicotine, but really miss the habit of going outside and having 5 mins to myself with a cup of tea Smile

I don't want to start smoking again (and i'm worried I will as life is quite stressful at the moment) but would love to try a 0% nicotine e cig as I'm sure that would be enough for me. There are so many on the market (and i'm completely inexperienced when it comes to e cigs) so I just wondered if anyone has any recommendations? Quite like the idea of fruity flavours etc

Thanks in advance Thanks

If you just want an occasional vape and you're not addicted to anything, you might do well on what is known as e-shisha. There are loads of disposable cig-alike versions around (lots of newsagents sell them) or you can get 0 nic juice for refillable models.

If I were you I'd start with a disposable and see how you get on. If it's 'OK but something better would be nice', I'd get one of these and some of this (they also do a huge range of Hangsen flavours in 0mg if you click around).

Thanks for replying plenty. Stupid question - I assume that the Hangsen liquids you have linked to would work in the Innokin e cig? Would any liquids work in it or do you need to use specific liquids with each e cig brand?

I've tried reading so many e cig guides but I'm still so clueless. Not normally this daft...

Thanks again

I want this too. I'm a social smoker, crave the action. Not the nicotine.
I'm watching closely.

Hopefully someone will be able to advise us soon

Not stupid, it can be a confusing subject & I find there's too many willy-waving technical sites & forums out there which just confuse matters for the newby vaper.

To answer your question, it doesn't matter what battery or clearo (tank) you are using, you should be able to use any make of liquid with them. There's a few flavours that can damage plastic tanks, but they normally have a warning about that on the web sites selling them. Brand is irrelevant. So yes Hangsen liquids will go happily in the Innokin.

The kit that Plenty linked to should be ideal for an occasional vaper. The battery would last an average smoker a good part of a day so should be more than sufficient for social vaping or for someone who only got through half a dozen fags in a day - and it's cheap! Innokin is a highly reputable brand, and I've ordered from Paradise Vape in the past & found them reliable.

I use 0% nicotine now. I just like the taste and the action.

kazzawazzawoo · 29/05/2014 09:36

I did this recently. I stopped smoking nine years ago, but going through a particularly stressful time recently I felt I needed something as a crutch - tbh I was close to starting smoking again. So I bought myself one of these:

SmokersAngel

with zero nicotine and puffed away for a while every now and again.

It helped me through a difficult time and now I'm over it and don't use it at the moment, but know it's there if I feel I need it in the future. It definitely did the trick for me.

CrepeFoofette · 29/05/2014 10:02

Thanks kazzawazzawoo. Think that looks like a good option for a beginner!

Yes, very easy to use, just charge it via usb, screw on the battery and puff!

Customer service is awesome and they deliver the next day if you order before lunchtime - well, they did for me anyway.

Let us know how you get on.

Btw, my dh stopped smoking three years ago by using Smokers Angel's ecigs and they are so much cheaper than cigarettes.

Allergictoironing · 29/05/2014 10:23

You say how much cheaper they are than real cigarettes, but all the cigalike types like these, Skycigs, e-lites etc are still much more expensive in the long run than using a refillable tank & battery type system. Plus you are very limited on flavours as you can only use the ones in their cartridges - 5 in this case - whereas I have 5 different flavours on the go at any one time including pineapple, grape, strawberry etc.

I also quite like the fact that my kit doesn't try to look exactly like a real cigarette, I have less chance my way of being accused of smoking where I shouldn't!

kazzawazzawoo · 29/05/2014 11:01

I agree Allergic, I just couldn't be bothered with refilling etc plus I wanted mine to look like a cigarette. But I know the ones with refillable tanks are much cheaper.

However, my dh used to spend nearly £8 every two days on cigarettes, now he buys a pack of five refills for £10.99 and they last him months! And it's healthier.

Bellezeboobian · 29/05/2014 11:07

I have a Titan 2 www.totallywicked-eliquid.co.uk/products/electronic-cigarette-starter-kits/advanced-kits/view-all/titan-2-starter-kit-and-e-liquid-2-product.html

It's good. And can be use whilst charging. Don't have to press a button to puff either.

Allergictoironing · 29/05/2014 11:30

Oh I agree kazza - definitely so much healthier than stinkies! If he's happy with that, all's good Smile.

That's a rather cute kit Belleze, and I can totally understand the desire to use an auto battery. You aren't getting a massive amount of liquid in those tanks so they will need refilling a bit more often than most, but could well be worth it if you like the look & feel of the rest of the kit.

millabbie123 · 05/06/2014 18:46

i have found a great website once you get started its the liquids that cost but these do an offer 4 for £9.99. I use about a bottle a week so it only costs me £2.50 a week. They do e-cigs for £7.45 so does'nt cost much to get started. www.ecigcrazy.co.uk

I think its loads healthier been using it for a few months and has stopped me putting on weight
