Have a relationship over 2 1/2 years my step daughter (15 year old) told my fiancé that her sister in law was talk bad about her mom him and me terrible thing that a 15 year old shouldn’t don’t need be told. My finance don’t want say nothing because my step daughter don’t want the commotion. This no the first time this lady those this she has done it before I came on the picture. Now I feel he should has say some no just because what was say about her mom but about me and I feel that he didn’t stand his ground to give me my place. Iam over reacting? I’m doing too much? Please advise.

He doesn’t want to invite more drama in to his daughter’s life

let it go

Couldn’t understand head nor tail of this.

Sorry you lost me. I got as far as your fiancé's daughter shared something with him, but I can't work out who said it or who they said it about.

My finance daughter in law which married to his son told my step daughter bad things about my step daughter mother, myself and my fiance. So my deal is my finance don’t want “betray “ my step daughter and confront his daughter in law and son and I think what was say is raw and need to be stop in my opinion. So I’m not sure if I’m crazy for being upset in him not saying nothing because he don’t want break his daughter trust or I’m being over reactive.

OP, your overriding concern and focus should be on improving your written English. Presuming of course you are English and live in England? It must make life generally hard if you are.

I think you are over reacting

Keeping his daughters trust is more important than defending you over something you’ve heard third hand in this scenario.

I can understand you wanting your fiance to stand up for you. However, your fiance only knows because his daughter told him. If he confronts the sister-in-law it's unlikely to really improve things, and likely to cause a lot of drama. Possibly your fiance shoupdn't have told you what was said, as it hasn't helped and has just upset you.

I'm sorry you're experiencing this.

It sounds like your fiancé knows that his daughter in law is a trouble maker. He might be saying nothing to keep the peace between him and your step son, but of course it’s important that if nothing else he tells your step daughter that this is a lie/ irrelevant/ to ignore such rumours again. Yes it’s annoying but do tell your fiancé how you feel without putting the blame on him or your stepdaughter.
