Does anyone holiday seperately?

Hi,

Just wondered if anyone of you guys holidays separately with your own kids?

Have been on a joint holiday but tbh DP just seemed to be grumpy most of the time and picky with the kids about stuff I really don't care about. It would be a shame for the kids as they enjoy eachothers company but I don't want to holiday with DP again as I want to enjoy the time with my kids and relax, and do what I want with them.

Just wondered if anyone already did this and how it was?

Take them on your own. You'll have a better time.

I do joint holidays with all my DC and SC and I don't enjoy it but I do it because I and my DH have a shared DC and I don't want either of us to miss out but this year was our last. Due to the ages of my DC (they'll be going with friends from now on)...I really don't want to go on holiday with just my SC, so I can actually see myself going away completely on my own!

Take your children on holiday alone. If your DP starts something over it tell him what you told us. That he’s a misery guts and ruined the last one with his nit picking
