Stupid question of the day, in response to our explanation of a plan to move furniture around:

'well, if the dining table is going to be there, is that where we will eat our dinner?'

No DSS, we'll move the table back to where it is now for each meal - silly boy!

No drink in the house! This is a disaster.

DD is sick and has refused to nap, in favour of having tired hysterical fits. Kitty is sick and keeps throwing up on the carpet. Between the pair of them, I am all out of patience. Which means none left over for teenage antics or a disengaged DH.

Right now DD is stuck in her cot, fourth try at a nap so far today. She's just sitting there repeating mommy mommy mommy mommy mommy mommy mommy...

yes, the clock change did not help! I was in bad shape today, but the good news is that she seems to be on the mend and was so exhausted herself that she went off to sleep without a hitch tonight. :)

It's hard Winter, you care for them and look after them but in the end you have no control over things like this because you have no rights. I know if me & DH split up I would never see the kids again because his exW thinks I'm the wicked witch of the west.
