Milia on edge of eyelid (in lash line) should I get it myself?

Apologies for no photo but I tried and can't get it to zoom in enough (if anyone can tell me how to do it I'll happily oblige)! Noticed it last week but thought it was just a bit of dry skin at first but it's developed into the typical oval pip and is sticking out in between my lashes iyswim? I'm super tempted to use a sterile blade to nick it and try to squeeze it out but should I really go to a pro? What's the MN verdict?

Give it a little longer. Use a hot flannel or a clean fingernail to gently scrape across it. It will make a little scab then lift away on its own, after a while.

Yes I’ve always scraped them off with a fingernail as PP.

no way would I put a needle that close to my eye!

I have been giving it a firm-ish rub with a hot microfibre make up remover pad thing several times a day and poking/scraping with fingernail to try and break the skin a bit so will continue doing that and see how it goes I guess - thanks?

I had one on my eyelid (a few years ago, before I knew what it was called, by discovering Dr pimple popper). It was there for months without changing.
I eventually used a needle – to break the skin before squeezing – but directed it sideways to ensure didn’t damage eyeball by mistake. Very easy and I wished I’d done it sooner

obviously be very careful…!

I managed to clear one dabbing some salicylic acid serum onto it, after a couple of days it was gone

But to clarify do not apply this where it might get into your eye, mine was on my eye lid and I just dabbed some on with a cotton bud

I did the same on one of mine on my eyelid. However the second one hasn't gone properly firm so haven't managed it with that. Waiting very impatiently for it!

Very disappointing update I'm afraid! Friday morning I overslept and was rushing to go out so had the worlds fastest wash and I felt the flannel just catch on something near my eye but hurry hurrry! Then just as I turned to leave the bathroom I remembered it so quick look in mirror and it was kind of dislodged so I gave it a tug and not much happened, looked like there was still a bit left so I thought I'd give it a prod later. When I did it still looked like there was something in it but it wasn't budging. Yesterday it looked like a tiny flake of dry skin which came off and now it's gone! Yes I'm pleased it's gone but I'm very annoyed it wasn't more satisfying Wink

Yep. Mine always come off in a scab of skin.
I've not had them for years though. Benefits of aging!
