I need to get these bad boys sorted before summer holiday...I've tried duct tape and bazuka. Do you think gp would treat them with there being so many?
Photo attached so you can see how lovely they are!

Possibly mosaic verruca or that skin thing that gives you pits in soles of feet. Can’t think what it’s called sorry

Singlebutmarried · 26/04/2019 18:47

DD had a some last year.

We’re were advised by the nurse to poke it with a pin after a bath.

Did two weeks of nightly poking and it fell off!

Trench foot?

Mrsappleby · 26/04/2019 22:25

Will try the pin method.

Personally the onky thing i thing will work is a cotton but with a small bit of bleach on

Obvious health warning.

This was the only thing to get rid of a v stubborn wart I had

INeedToGetHealthy · 26/04/2019 23:28

I used silver nitrate on my DS's cluster of verrucas which ended up about the size of a £2 coin. It was the only thing that worked.

Cider vinegar - the kind with the 'mother' in really works. I had a big old one on the sole of my foot and treated it by soaking a cotton pad in the vinegar, sticking on with a plaster and covering with a sock overnight. Sometimes a dab of vinegar and plaster in the daytime too. Took a few weeks but completely gone now!

grincheux · 27/04/2019 12:59

Another vote for cider vinegar! Tiny bit of cotton wool soaked in it, duct tape it on, you'll probably need to bandage over that too to hold it on, then a sock. Keep it on as long as you can (at least overnight before changing it) and keep at it til they've disappeared. They'll go all purpley black at first and they'll be sore, but honestly it's the only thing I've ever found that works.

howrudeforme · 27/04/2019 13:01

I’ve used thuja oil for warts on my ds and works for him.

Madbengalmum · 30/04/2019 19:56

Mrs Appleby, I deal with feet all day long, a gp will tell you to buy a topical anti verruca med,but this won't work effectively unless you have some bladework done to remove the dead tissue. Putting product straight onto the foot ontop of dead skin wont work. Contact a foot health specialist and you will get it sorted, leaving it to home remedies is a sure fire way to spread the contion. Looks like verrucas as i can see the blood vessels.

TheRealHousewifeofCheshire · 04/05/2019 21:35

How have you got on

Bunnybigears · 04/05/2019 21:43

My tried and tested technique is file down as much as possible with an Emery board. Put on some Bazzuka extra strength gel, let it dry then cover with nail varnish (any colour or even clear if you don't want to draw attention to it), apply a new layer of nail varnish daily on top of that there after a week take a bath then pull off the covering with tweezers it will bring some of the middle of the verruca with it. Repeat process until verruca no longer exists.

Mrsappleby · 12/05/2019 14:05

Bit of an update... took me a little while to get started after all your suggestions but just over a week ago I decided to just try the file and nail polish method as they were at hand. Hopefully it's all going in the right direction now. This is a before (on the right) and this morning (on the left) I've zoomed in from the original photo for the before.

I've spent half of the morning pulling black bits out of mine with a pair of tweezers.

Come on you bastard, get OUT!

Mustbetimeforachange · 12/05/2019 15:40

Unfortunately your body needs to mount an immune response to the verrucca. Poking it, poking it etc may provoke the body to mount a response but it won't go without this. Anyone who says "apple cider vinegar" etc got lucky with the timing. I had a horrendous one on my foot which I just couldn't get rid of. One day it had suddenly gone.

Passthecake30 · 23/05/2019 07:21

My veruccas took 8 years to go. What finally appeared to work was extra strength bazukka and a pair of scissors Blush
Or maybe my immune system... but it seems a bit of a coincidence...
