Brushing DD's hair this morning and found a couple of scabby bits in her hair. Not sure if they are bites or aomething else?

Just about resisted the urge to pick.

But how can you resist Shock

Pick it!

Mild scalp psoriasis? I get this from time to time - washing every second wash with Head & Shoulders generally keeps it under control for me.

I get this sometimes. I scratch in my sleep and end up with the orange gunky stuff under my nails in the morning.
I wash every other time with head and shoulders and don’t get it anymore.

Try Nizoral shampoo a few times a week

MattLeBlancVest · 04/08/2018 21:13

Fab, thanks all. I've got some dandruff shampoo so I'll try that tomorrow before I buy other stuff.

Could use the babies cradle cap shampoo?!

It looks more like a midge bite that has been scratched. I'd just put some sudocrem on it for a few days to see if it clears up before using harsh shampoos

jumpittyjump · 04/08/2018 21:25

Not sure cradle cap stuff would work.
It has to be the anti dandruff one for me.
My 4 year old gets a bit of a scabby flaky scalp too. I think it’s just build up of shampoo and products. We use head and shoulders on her once a month to keep it at bay.
Just make sure she closes her eyes tho as the suds really really sting.

BrennieGirl · 04/08/2018 22:12

That looks like impetigo to me.

MattLeBlancVest · 05/08/2018 04:27

Thanks all. I'll try a blob of sudocream tomorrow day then anti dandruff shampoo at bath time.
