Is there any science behind amber beads? My understanding is they are at best useless, and at worst, a choking risk. If there is anything I'm missing it would be great to know.

My 8 month old doesn't have any teeth yet despite actively teething since 5 months. At what point do I worry?

nostalgi · 19/11/2024 20:04

Why have you asked an expert on tooth whitening, rather than a paediatric dentist or academic professional, to be your expert?

Furthermore, why are you promoting a teething product for which there is absolutely zero clinical and/or scientific evidence to show they are effective.

I think this is poor form Mumsnet. New mums don’t need something else to waste their money on, or false promises that something is going to help with rashes/sleepless nights/children in pain.

Hi, My son turns one next week and only has his 2 bottom teeth, with no sign of anymore coming through. He does have a dentist appt in a few weeks, but should I be worried they haven't come through yet?

Wick55 · 20/11/2024 18:41

My son is nearly 14 months and finally has two top and two bottom teeth. One more tooth has come out next to the incisor but the one on the other side is causing him a lot of pain in comparison to the others. Is there a reason why this one is so painful for him?

Hi,
Is it true that a runny nose is a sign of teething? My 8mo old is fussy with a runny nose and it would be good to know if that’s what’s causing it. Also, should I be giving calpol when he seems upset about it?
Thanks!
