How damaging are UPFs for children and any tips on avoiding them when so many children’s snacks are so heavily branded and wanted by children

Children in my school did not have inhalers, so many allergies to food, asthma eczema - we ate meat and 2 veg - do you think there is a correlation to the vast change in diet from 30 years ago to today ?

I would love to have the time to make homemade snacks myself but unfortunately as a full-time working mum this isn’t possible. I’d there a go-to recipe that you would recommend for a healthy childrens snack that I could batch cook on a Sunday that would last most of the week and is easily transportable e.g wrapable.
