When it comes to doing the laundry we all have our unique styles and specific routines. To find out exactly what type of laundry doer you are, Fairy Non Bio has launched a quiz with Mumsnet so you can find out and let us know!

The tribes are:
The perfectionist
The outsourcer
The happy-go-lucky launderer
The eco warrior

Whatever laundry tribe you belong to, take the quiz and post your results on this thread - you’ll be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 voucher for the store of their choice (from a list).

Thanks and good luck.

The happy go lucky launderer

AveAtqueVale · 01/03/2018 09:06

Happy-go-lucky here! I’m slightly miffed as I have recently attempted to up my laundry game significantly!

SleeplessMomma · 01/03/2018 09:26

The happy-go-lucky launderer for me - definitely sounds right!

AllTheWayDown · 01/03/2018 09:49

The happy-go-lucky launderer for me!

OuchBollocks · 01/03/2018 10:01

Happy-go-lucky launderer here too. Not sure about the happy part. I dream of being an outsourcer.

DorothyBastard · 01/03/2018 10:11

The outsourcer. Which is rubbish because I do all the family’s washing myself

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 01/03/2018 10:16

I'm an outsourcer - I outsource about half to dh. The dses do bring their laundry home, but they know fine well where the washing machine is, how to use it, and that there is absolutely NO chance of me doing their ironing for them. I don't do my own ironing (dh does - my hero), so the most I will do for the dses is to sort and fold their stuff from the tumble dryer - and only if I am feeling particularly maternal, or the pile is getting too big!

BevBrook · 01/03/2018 10:25

I'm an eco warrior, although it's laziness really.

Shiftymake · 01/03/2018 10:32

Result: The eco warrior

There’s a planet to save and your battle starts in the utility room. You’ve implemented a five-wears-before-washing rule and were washing on the cold setting way before the rest of the world discovered 30°.

Sounds about right :)

nicemarmot · 01/03/2018 10:48

Happy go lucky here

AveEldon · 01/03/2018 10:52

The outsourcer

Hsmumma · 01/03/2018 10:58

Apparently the outsourcer accept I do all the laundry!

DickTERFin · 01/03/2018 11:04

I'm an eco warrior (with slattern tendencies).

Nannyplumssillyoldelf · 01/03/2018 11:06

Happy go lucky for me.

SusanWalker · 01/03/2018 11:17

Eco warrior. I think I'm more happy go lucky myself. I only hang all my washing to dry because I can't afford a tumble dryer. Mind you the questions were a bit niche.

Makes sense here as I wash all colours all together (with colour catchers) was gutted when I had a baby (light-hearted!) And had whites to wash so I embrace the colour catcher!

We live in purple/black/ grey so no laundry sorting hurrah! (Advantages to be a goth couple) trawling eBay and sales for better coloured baby clothes...

moreshitandnofuckingredemption · 01/03/2018 11:19

Apparently I'm an eco-warrior. I suspect this is code for being a lazy cheapskate but I'll take it!

Jfw82 · 01/03/2018 11:23

The outsourcer which is interesting as I do all the washing in our house and never get any help!

pinkdonkey · 01/03/2018 11:23

Happy go lucky Smile

PearlsaMinger · 01/03/2018 11:47

I’m a happy go lucky washer! Happy when it gets done which is lucky for the family as they’ll have something clean to put on. Wink

xQueenMabx · 01/03/2018 13:01

The perfectionist. Sounds right tbh, I hate a full laundry basket!

mrsBeverleyGoldberg · 01/03/2018 13:52

I'm the outsourced, which is weird as I do all the washing and ironing. Some of the questions had overly flippant answers. If the washing machine breaks, I go to the laundrette, not any of the strange choices that were given. I think the test was written by someone who had specific types of people in mind who live in an imaginary world.

BlueTablecloth · 01/03/2018 13:55

happy go lucky

RubbishMantra · 01/03/2018 13:58

Outsourcer. Eh? Confused

MoreProsecco · 01/03/2018 14:41

I'm happy go-lucky, apparently!

Having a mega laundry day today as it's snowing & we're stuck inside on a red weather alert.
