When it comes to doing the laundry we all have our unique styles and specific routines. To find out exactly what type of laundry doer you are, Fairy Non Bio has launched a quiz with Mumsnet so you can find out and let us know!

The tribes are:
The perfectionist
The outsourcer
The happy-go-lucky launderer
The eco warrior

Whatever laundry tribe you belong to, take the quiz and post your results on this thread - you’ll be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 voucher for the store of their choice (from a list).

Thanks and good luck.

The happy-go-lucky launderer

HeyThatsNotMyName · 02/03/2018 14:47

Happy go lucky for me. Sounds about right!

LaundryHepburn · 02/03/2018 15:15

Perfectionist, but I already knew that, obvs

limetree11 · 02/03/2018 15:48

I'm an eco-warrior but that may also be due to the quick wash button...

abigailsnan · 02/03/2018 16:17

I came out as a perfectionist which surprised me a little bit,but I do like my laundry all done and dusted asap it allows me to focus on other things that are important in my day to day life.

Happy go lucky launderer

Cheekyandfreaky · 02/03/2018 16:41

Apparently I’m an outsourcer but I’m really not. We all do the laundry here (well me and DH) and we never use dry cleaners etc even though at times we should.

I really can’t get stressed about laundry- if it’s clean and smells good I’m winning and 95% of the time that’s what happens.

We have a new system in fact. Every morning any dirty clothes from the previous day go straight in the washing machine except for DHs white shirts. When it’s full it goes on. That’s the system, we love it.

I got the eco warrior

MadeForThis · 02/03/2018 16:57

Outsourcer. Sounds about right.
Would love to be able to outsource all my washing.

Strigiformes · 02/03/2018 17:00

Done- I'm an eco warrior :)

Littlepaleale · 02/03/2018 18:49

Happy go lucky here... about right. Washing permanently decorated my radiators

Mel0Dram4 · 02/03/2018 19:10

Result: The happy-go-lucky launderer

Yes, I agree with this result!

RamsayBoltonsConscience · 02/03/2018 19:12

A happy-go-lucky launderer! Sounds like me 😂

scaredofthecity · 02/03/2018 19:17

Another outsourcer... certainly don't feel like it!

dontevenblink · 02/03/2018 19:21

Happy go lucky launderer. Sounds about right, with 4 young dc the washing is pretty never ending so don't have the energy to worry too much about it!

CycleHire · 02/03/2018 19:28

Eco warrior. Not sure I am really but still 🤷‍♀️

CountFosco · 02/03/2018 19:33

Outsourcer. Mainly because the cleaner does the sheets. I need to get them to do more!

InterstellarSleepingElla · 02/03/2018 19:34

I got the outsourcer - strange as I have only outsourced my quilt as my machine isn't big enough (oh and my husbands suit once)...oh and planning on sending some jackets because my pile of washing is so big at the minute....ok, maybe outsourcer is right! 😂

origamiswan · 02/03/2018 19:55

My result: The happy-go-lucky launderer. Quite happy with that :-)

hellogoodbyeendo · 02/03/2018 20:23

Eco warrior. Reminds me of the joy I felt when I discovered a (lazy) large load reduces release of micro plastics...

itshappenedagain · 02/03/2018 20:29

The perfectionist...in laundry only! My mum would agree with that result, as I hate greying whites or washed out colours.

ohhelpohnoitsa · 02/03/2018 20:36

I got happy go lucky, and would agree. I think I can be too anal about it sometimes but generally what will be will be. Unlike my mil who still soaks her underwear in a bowl overnight in some sort of solution before washing for some unknown reason. She says it's what she has always done. I told her modern washing machines work well enough. She is only 60, not even as if she generations old!

sundaysunday · 02/03/2018 20:39

Outsourcer apparently Hmm

WreckTangled · 02/03/2018 20:43

Happy go lucky apparently. I hate doing the washing...
