Ready for the end of the Winter gloom? Eagerly awaiting the arrival of Spring and the warmer weather that it will bring? Well we are! And we’d love to hear about what you have planned for Spring to keep us going through the wet and cold months.

Here’s what My 1st Years has to say: “We love Spring at My 1st Years, the clothes get a little lighter and the sky a little brighter making us all feel a little happier. Spring represents a new beginning and whether that’s beautiful blossoms starting to bloom or a new baby, there is something so exciting about the fresh new start ahead!”

My 1st Years have just released their Spring collection and would like you to take a look on their website here and select your favourite item from their new collection. Let us know what catches your eye (ideally with a link for everyone interested in your favourite).

We would also love to know what your plans are for the coming Spring. Any exciting outings or adventures planned for the Easter holidays? How about visits to the park, bike rides or beach trips? Maybe you’ve got a city break planned?

Tell us what you’re most looking forward to below and you will be entered into a prize draw to win a £300 voucher of your choice (from a list). My 1st Years will also be giving 4 MNers their favourite item they selected from their site!

Thanks and good luck!

What a lovely website. I loved a lot of the products on there but especially the umbrellas and cute dressing gowns.

I can't wait for spring after the gloomy winter we've had. It's just nice to be able to start getting the kids out and about at weekends without having to prepare for every weather eventuality or worry about the roads being too icy.

Favourite item is the grey wooden guitar.

I love this toy box www.my1styears.com/pink-star-toy-chest.html great for keeping her bedroom tidy, and a great keepsake for years to come. I am looking forward to getting my garden furniture out in the next few weeks cleaning it off, getting the toys out of the shed at watching my little ones ride up and down on their ride on toys, all rosie cheeked and happy. Bye bye winter come quickly spring.

I'm looking forward to longer evenings to make it pleasurable getting out with the dogs, and to the open air swimming pools and lakes opening again!

I thought the taggy was really cute, and the sort of thing I'd buy as a present

I like the cloud shelf - www.my1styears.com/personalised-white-cloud-shelf

The grey guitar was a close second!

My DD is just learning to walk, and so I'm looking forward to when the weather improves and we can spend time toddling around the garden together!

I love this toy chest - always looking for ways to make my house look less like a bomb site, and this looks really tasteful and practical.

I love spring. I just can't wait to start doing more outdoorsy things with the kids again without freezing my backside off. There's a beautiful woods and gardens near us that are stunning when all the blosson and spring flowers start to come out.

Im looking forward to seeing the spring flowers and to going for long walks and picnics with the kids. My favourite item is the range of lovely lunch boxes - with names on too to save arguments www.my1styears.com/personalised-flamingo-print-mini-lunch-box.html

I'm loving this... thinking ahead to Father's Day www.my1styears.com/hero-sidekick-set.html

My spring plan is to go back to work after mat leave - eek! Aside from that, it's to get my LO outside enjoying the daffodils, birds and squirrels and the blossom on the trees. He was born April last year, and on our first trip out of the house together I sat down in the park and cried with happiness (and hormones)!

There are so many lovely things on the website! I loved the xylophone, and also this water bottle. I like that it has a name on... we have the same water bottles as a few others in preschool so we get mixed up and the name tends to come off in the dishwasher so these bottles are cute and practical! www.my1styears.com/personalised-colourful-animal-print-water-bottle.html

We have just got a year pass to a local zoo type place, so this spring we will be going there a lot to see the young animals :)

Love instruments, so it is the drum for.me.

Spring is a time when the communal garden behind our flat comes back to life. I love to sit here with DC spying on the wildlife. Also long walks and staying out all day as the light lengthens.

I like this set from the Gifts for Dads section: www.my1styears.com/hero-sidekick-set.html It's very cute and would be perfect for a new dad, especially as they perhaps get a bit overlooked in all the excitement of a new baby.

My plans for spring are to get my new picnic company up and running. We've worked so hard over the winter getting everything ready so we're hoping to get some bookings once the weather picks up.

Some lovely gifts on the website. I know Christmas isn't for ages but this personalised stocking is really cute and I love the idea of each child getting a special one with their name on.

This spring we're having a short break to Edinburgh and then just enjoying the outdoors more locally - visiting some big parks and national trust properties.

I can't wait to have picnics in the parks and long spring walks with the dog. I can't wait for a bit of warmth and lighter evenings.

Spring for us means continuing the renovations and decorating our new family home. The star and moon book ends and personalised cloud shelf would look perfect in my sons new nursery! He’ll be moving in there in the next couple of months!!

We are really looking forward to Spring now that DS is enjoying sensory time and will be able to see the new season.

The new collection is beautiful, and I especially like this quilt which would look perfect in DS’s nursery!

It may be spring but you still need to keep snuggly warm in the mornings and evenings. My son would love this dressing gownwww.my1styears.com/personalised-blue-striped-robe.html, especially when we have a lazy weekend morning and stay in our PJs!

Spring for our family is when we can start to spend more time outside, especially now my son can ride his bike. Lots of walks and time as a family having fun in the fresh air
