Going over on the ferry is our favourite start to a holiday - we take the family and the car and book a cabin which is always a lot of fun. Last year, we toured the Champagne region which was amazing - such beautiful countryside and clear roads. The kids had their treat on the way home - a stay at Disneyland Paris!
