a weekend away somewhere scenic!

Bsummers · 07/09/2017 23:55

I'd buy a new fridge freezer as mine is quite old, and all the freezer drawers have cracks or are broken!

If I won the money I would spend it on my husband and 4 rescue dogs. My husband was made redundant and then contracted cancer. We managed to hold onto our house and eventually he got another job and got better after an operation but it has taken until now to pay off the bills we owed 6 years to be exact.
I was then very ill for 3 years and my husband singlehandedly had to look after me and work full time plus look after the dogs as I was in bed 24-7. I had a breakdown after I lost my Grandfather who was the only person who was always there for me. He had vascular dementia and me and my husband looked after him for years. That is true love when you see your husband crying when my grandad was crying after he had an accident and my beautiful husband made him feel better and tidied up around him. When Grandad and my dog Teddy Edwards died, I had a breakdown and contracted Fibromyalgia and Rheumatoid Arthritis and my husband cared for me for 3 years. I am out the other side now, still in pain every day but my mind is healed after being in a very bad place. I would give the money to my husband and tell him to do something for himself, be it tickets for Bruce Springsteen, go out with his mates, something to make him laugh again. That is true love.xxxx

I've been job hunting lately so would use it to buy some better (not ruined by kids) clothes.

MaverickSnoopy · 08/09/2017 07:11

I would probably buy DD2 a new buggy. At 14mo she's still in DD1s travel system and they've only ever had one buggy between them. It was always the plan just to have one but it's looking a little tired and takes up so much space in our postage stamp size house, so it's definitely time to get something foldable but don't have the money for it.

stereolove · 08/09/2017 08:07

£325 would finish off the baby shopping before our first born son appears in early December.
And hopefully leave enough left over for the soft cheese and daiquiri festival I want as soon as I'm alowed them again!

shan89 · 08/09/2017 08:58

This would be fantastic help my sons birthday in November and for Xmas fingers crossed :)

queenoftheschoolrun · 08/09/2017 09:18

I'd spend it on a short break for me, DH and DD. We've just got back from holiday and had such a great time that it would be great to have something else to look forward to!

sebbysebastian · 08/09/2017 09:21

I would love to win this, been off work for a couple of months after having a total knee replacement and not getting paid, things are getting tight. Would love to have a family getaway in October half term as the summer holidays were quite boring for our 4 children with me not being able to drive them anywhere. X

Macmay03 · 08/09/2017 09:54

This is Harley...he is our Romanian rescue puppy. He is a strong boy who's gone through so much. He is now in a loving home; however, he needs help in building his confidence, especially around new people - more so strange men. The money will help pay towards this training /guidance.

Christmas and birthday presents. I had a very very rough birth last christmas and this will be my first christmas as a mum. I want to make this year really special to wash away the memories of last year. But im on SMP so money's very tight!

bigarse1 · 08/09/2017 12:18

i would take my children for a break away. 2 of my children are disabled and life is soooo tough. my husband and I are awake for 20 hours a day and they have life so tough and try so hard and their sibling misses out because of all the stuff that has to be done with them. I would love to take them away for a weekend and for once forget hospitals and illness and just give them some much needed fun x

haveacupoftea · 08/09/2017 13:29

zippyants · 08/09/2017 14:08

I would put it towards more goodies and buy through TCB of course! Make money through spending - an oxymoron lol

EauPea · 08/09/2017 14:37

£325 would go a long way towards a new fridge freezer, purchased through tcb obviously Halo

BreconBeBuggered · 08/09/2017 14:51

I really, really need a new cooker. A £325 one would do.
