Bella Italia are celebrating the launch of their new menu by offering Mumsnetters the chance to try their new menu over a complimentary bottle of wine. They’ve also asked us to find out what things Mumsnetters would like to celebrate at the moment with a bottle of wine.

Here’s what they say, “Our new menu is here and it’s better than ever! We’ve been busy working to bring you a true taste of Italy with our new menu, bursting with authentic flavours, made with great Italian ingredients

“Treat yourself to our Beef and Red Wine ravioli, rich Italian Lamb shank, or our all NEW Ripiena - a pizza crust filled with real Italian Mozzarella and oozing with garlic butter - Bellisimo!

“So….make it a night out with the girls (leave the DC at home with DH /DP!) or get a babysitter and get out on the town and enjoy you free wine when you dine at Bella.”

So, what would you like to celebrate at the moment? Maybe you’ve just landed a great new job? Have you managed to finally get through a whole week of your DC sleeping through the night? Or maybe your friend has recently got engaged and you’d like to crack open a bottle of wine with them to celebrate? Whatever it is, we’d love to hear it!

Everyone who posts on this thread will be entered into a prize draw to win a £300 Bella Italia voucher!

I would like to celebrate the anniversary of my nans passing. Of course not celebrating her death, but celebrating her life. This would be perfect to get the family together and have a good meal and drinks on my nan's behalf.

I would like to celebrate my friends, just the fact that they are there!

I'd like to celebrate finally getting close to a diagnosis after a year of hell, but not with wine as I don't drink!

My daughter has a nervous system condition called complex regional pain syndrome. It causes her constant non stop pain in her knee along with problems in anything to do with the peripheral nervous system. It is the most painful chronic pain condition you can have ranked on her worst days as more painful than labour without medication. The pain is so bad it makes her faint and she takes 23 tablets a day that have horrific side effects to try control the pain. 10 weeks ago she had a spinal cord stimulator inserted into her spine. This works by causing her to feel vibrations in her knee that she controls the strength of which stops some of the pain signals getting through. It was never guaranteed to work, some people get no relief the average is 50%. It has worked better than even the doctor could have dreamed. She can walk the dogs with me now, asks for a lot less pain killers, doesn't get woken up with pain all night and doesn't take hours to drop off because it hurts so much. She has only fainted once in 10 weeks and went to the cinema for the first time in 1.5 years last week. I'll be having a bottle to celebrate the weight that has been lifted from my shoulders, she will always be in pain and have to make allowances but now it isn't destroying her life. My second bottle would be for the fact we got through the first 10weeks. For those weeks she couldn't even lift her arms above her head, bend, twist or lift or the wires in her spine would move and we made it! Xx

I would like to celebrate the birth of my fifth child last month. Although I suspect it will be a while until we get to go out alone.

I try and celebrate coping with life/three kids on a regular basis! A meal out and a glass (or 3) of wine out with a good friend (or 3) definitely puts things into perspective!

Donnylover · 04/11/2015 10:15

Celebrate being alive and raise a glass to friends and family who are sadly no longer here.

Tomorrow I'm celebrating the fact that we've made it through the first week after half term, and it's a Saturday night with no (much loved) family visited and no (wonderful) parties, so the four of us can settle down with a pizza, Wine for the adults and a nit comb and gorge on Pointless, Strictly and Doctor Who
