NOW CLOSED Win a trip to Cadbury World and other choccy treats: can you find the hidden word in our Talk Topic Easter Egg (n Spoon) Hunt?

To celebrate the launch of Cadbury's new kids' Easter treat, Egg n Spoon, we have a fun filled Easter Egg (n Spoon) Hunt for you to take part in...

We've hidden seven eggs around the site for you to find and the clues are posted below to help you find them.

Each egg is hidden on a specific (and different) MN Talk board (if you're not familiar with them all - and there are LOTS of them - you may want to click on the Topics A-Z link here). And the first letter of the name of that board is the letter you're after. So, if the clue leads you to the Weaning Talkboard, the letter you need is W.

Collect all 7 letters, unscramble them and you'll end up with a word. All you then have to do is submit the word on the competition form here to be in with a chance of winning a family trip to Cadbury World or one of twenty Cadbury Easter treats.

Oh, and you're welcome to help each other out with the clues but, if you guess the final word, please don't post it here. That would spoil the fun, eh?

Here are the clues:

Day 1: Hmmmm, Betty or Evie? How to choose...

Day 2: Where you chat about Tom's ready meals, and what Brine and Jenny Darling have been up to?

Day 3: The place to go when you have POAS and had a positive experience

Day 4: Slightly trickier one today: we're looking for the first letter of a likely acronym-only reply to any thread on our most famously straight-talking talk topic

Day 5: The place to find recommendations if your holiday plans are Old-Blighty-based

Day 6: Good tips for trips that'll have you back home by bedtime?

Day 7: Where to go for a cuppa, a biscuit and a _

Here's the link to the competition form again: www.mumsnet.com/microsites/cadburys-egg-n-spoon

Thanks and good luck,

MNHQ

NB Due to tech ishoos we've had to move the position of all the eggs on the talk pages. They are all still there, if you can't see them look lower Grin

I am nothing if not quick off the mark and made a wild guess based on one letter :-). Time will tell if I'm right (or not). Do I get extra comp entries for being a chancer Grin!???

BeCool · 11/03/2013 11:21
Grin
moonbells · 11/03/2013 11:42

OK where have the eggs gone? I was away this weekend and want to get the last couple of letters!

moonbells · 11/03/2013 11:45

OK ignore me, just read the very last line on the OP Blush

gazzalw · 11/03/2013 11:57

How long's this one running for, Katie? Hoping that this might be one case where the early bird (or should I say bunny in this case?) catches the worm!!! [Easter Egg emoticon!]

KatieBMumsnet · 11/03/2013 12:35

Rosa unfortunately the competition is UK only. MN competition T&Cs can be found here

gazzalw the competition will be open for a while longer, we need to give everyone else a chance to catch up Grin

OP posts:
EdwiniasRevenge · 11/03/2013 13:04

No we don't want to wait for others to catch up...reduces our odds of winning Grin

gazzalw · 11/03/2013 13:33

Exactly EdwiniasRevenge - hence my extremely precipitous entry to the comp based on one letter Wink. Now I will have to sit tapping my foot for days/weeks eating lots of chocolate

ShepherdsSpy · 12/03/2013 21:07

I have guessed an answer based on knowing some answers and finding NO EGGS! However, I hope I am right!

blackeyedsusan · 12/03/2013 23:17

oh dear. I spend too much time on mumsnet...

ImTooHecsyForYourParty · 13/03/2013 07:05

ok. I have clearly done this wrong because I don't have a word! Yet I found all the eggs. [baffled]

ImTooHecsyForYourParty · 13/03/2013 07:11

but it doesn't make a wooooooord !!

cinnamongreyhound · 13/03/2013 09:13

Don't forget the AIBU is the answer Y/N not A. Does that help?

EdwiniasRevenge · 13/03/2013 09:29

Surely it is yabu or yanbu...

Blatherskite · 13/03/2013 09:35

It's not a word you'd find in a dictionary Hec.

I found an anagram maker helped....

cinnamongreyhound · 13/03/2013 09:44

Suppose it is :)

ImTooHecsyForYourParty · 13/03/2013 10:45

I've got all the letters, seen all the eggs.
Its just the collection of letters is meaningless to me!

ICBINEG · 13/03/2013 12:23

woot just found this! Thanks for the 15 mins distraction from work MN...reliable as ever Grin

ICBINEG · 13/03/2013 12:25

Although it could have been a bit more cryptic....not up to the standard of the listener crossword at all...

ChaoticisasChaoticdoes · 13/03/2013 15:25

This will explain why I keep seeing eggs everywhere.

ImTooHecsyForYourParty · 13/03/2013 15:25

Well.

I am a dozy bloody wazzock.

I'm sitting there, looking at these random letters thinking what the hell. That's not a word. I even looked at the acronyms list to see if it meant anything.

Then I reread the OP.

You have to rearrange the bloody letters.

Oh. My. God.

If I had half a brain, I'd really be something.

ChaoticisasChaoticdoes · 13/03/2013 15:44

Grin Hecsy

I managed to get the word with 6 out of the 7 letters, cos I couldn't get number 2. I also managed to get the wrong letter for number 4 originally but realised what I'd done when rereading clue 4. What that says about my brain I have no idea.

Blatherskite · 13/03/2013 16:01

Didn't you get my PM Hec?

ImTooHecsyForYourParty · 13/03/2013 21:55

I did, thanks Blathers, I've replied. x

MissRee · 15/03/2013 13:08

Noooooooooooooo I entered the wrong word and now I know the right word it won't let me add it again :( How can I enter with the right word, MNHQ????
