The team behind "One Born Every Minute" have asked us to find 10 Mumsnetters willing to join a panel of special volunteers - who would watch the first two episodes and add feedback about the programmes on specially set up threads on Mumsnet Talk. The feedback thread will be live during broadcast and volunteers would be welcome to add feedback then or the next day.

Here's what the team behind the programme say about it: "Every minute of every day, a baby is born in Britain. One Born Every Minute celebrates what it really feels like to become a parent, by taking a bustling maternity hospital and filling it with forty cameras. Filming from the reception desk to the neo-natal ward; from the operating theatre to the birthing pool, this ground-breaking and tender new series observes the dramatic, emotional and often funny moments that go hand in hand with bringing a new life into the world, from the perspective of the soon-to-be parents and family, as well as the hospital staff."

The series starts on Monday 10th January at 9pm on Channel 4 (or Channel 4 HD) and is a 12 part series.

We're looking for a variety of Mumsnetters to join the panel of special volunteers but there are some criteria:

~ You must be available to watch the programme on both 10th January and 17th January at 9pm and to add feedback during broadcast or the next day
~ You'd need to be a parent already (it doesn't matter what age your child(ren) is/are)
~ They'd like some of the panel at least who are willing to also post on Facebook or Twitter about the programme to spread the word beyond Mumsnet

We're looking for a mix of folks who have seen the programme before and those who haven't. Also a mixture of pregnant and non pregnant MNers

If you'd like to volunteer for this and meet the criteria above please [[http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/YR5GNNM
add your details here.]]

Everyone who is selected for the panel of special volunteers and who takes part will receive a £40 Amazon voucher - you must give feedback on both programmes on two separate feedback threads.

Obviously other Mumsnetters will watch the programme and are very welcome to add their feedback to the two feedback threads on Mumsnet - Channel 4 are hoping this new series will provoke comments from MNers as it has in the past (for example). Anyone who isn't a panel member but who contributes to the feedback threads will be entered into a prize draw with one person (drawn at random) on each thread winning a £50 Amazon voucher.

Thanks and good luck

i can't watch it, due to it really upsetting me and giving me flashbacks and in fact I think it is awful that the adverts can just pop up anywhere full of the sights and sounds of labour- means I don't watch the entire channel. I can't be the only person affected like this.
