How do you stop it?

What I mean is, how do you stop the hurts your ASD kids get if their in a mainstream school? My daughter gets 'used' by the other girls, to go and say something horrid (that she doesn't realise is horrid) to another group of girls, so the second group of girls hate her and are nasty to her, and then the first group of girls ignore her for days after, until they want her to do their dirty work for her again. How do I explain to my DD that they're just using her, or that what she's actually doing (cos these other girls have told her to, she'd stick her head in the oven if one of these so called friends told her to) is not nice, and actually get through to her???? HELP!!!

I think it is a form of bullying, or at least abusing her good nature. You should be able to take it up with the school staff and expect to be taken seriously. I don't know how you go about getting her to understand for herself though, maybe the GP could refer for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy? Sorry not much help.

I'm going in to see her form tutor after school on monday. We'll have to see how it goes, new school and all that (she went up to secondary mainstream in september), left it for a bit as I was unsure to start with if it was something all the kids went through with starting seniors, but after vtalking to my friends with NT kids the same age, it's apparent it's not 'normal' to still be having problems and not having an established group of friends by now. Not that she had friends in primary, just hoping the secondary will take me more seriously.
