as I said on the other thread I would love to hear more about your ds(I realise he is not a teen but didn't know where else to post) dd is 14 and I am so interested it hearing about the "future"

I am here!
My ds has severe learning disabilities,double incontinence,severe epilepsy,cp,ps,hi,and the ability of about a 15 month old toddler on a good day.He is very sociable,and can talk but mostly mimicry with the odd sensible phrase if he is spooked or unhappy.I will try and answer any queries about the "future"-hope I can help!

does he still live at home?
I have a dream the dd will some day leave hoem(have that mad dream about ds a7 and nt as well)

Yes he still lives at home.He goes to a Day Centre 5 days a week and also we recieve respite about 25 nights a year.
What about your sn dc,could you tell me a bit about him or her.
I found my ds the most difficult at 7.
I think it takes years and years to get your head round the difficulties.I hardly find it difficult at all now although he is physically very tiring and emotionally draining.I think I have adapted!!He is much more difficult on every level but I sort of raised my game
