I'm not quite sure what to do ,so far we are ignoring it ,so not to draw attention to it ..but other family members are noticing.
Does it go away on its own or not
The days of getting him to CAMHS are long gone .

Ignoring it is the right thing to do, IMO. We find drawing attention makes tics worse. Encourage others to ignore too.

Would DS speak to the GP or let you speak to the GP? Unlikely but it would be good to rule out physical causes.

I've not even mentioned it to him ..he would deny it and or be very embarrassed.
But two siblings separately have noticed and spoke to me ,and then I noticed it to .
It was absolute hell getting him to CAMHS appointments in the past ,so I don't want to go down that route
My first instinct was to ignore,so it's good to hear someone else feels thats the right thing to do ..thanks x

How are DS’s anxiety and stress levels? We find tics increase when generally anxiety levels increase.

If DS doesn’t already take multivitamins, that might be worth a try if he is willing.

Exams this year ..that was my thoughts
And that hopefully when the stress of exams go ,the tics will stop
