It’s a review to bring the figures down on PIP. The U.K. is underdiagnosed.

The last report on ADHD from the NHS stated this.

PIP isn’t based on diagnosis.

I know all about PIP. My dd is on it for ADHD. Her diagnosis report came in pretty helpful in the application.

I commented because “It’s a review to bring the figures down on PIP. The U.K. is underdiagnosed.” certainly sounded like you thought PIP is based on diagnosis when it isn’t.

Of course diagnostic reports are helpful evidence for some but people are not awarded PIP based on diagnosis. They are awarded it on how their disability affects them which isn’t the same thing. You don’t even need a diagnosis.
