12 year old behaviour is getting out of control with friends, her firiends are fine even though there are a few that are consistent so in that regards it’s fine but every now and again she gets a new one and it’s silently her best friends, lots of boys and is obsessed for a few days at least.

Last night she wss burning paper and I could smell something, I had a right go as it’s so dangerous! She’s had an initial assessment but not a full one yet as I believe medication would help her.

her sleep isn’t great but we use melatonin which for years I was reluctant to but a friend of hers mums do or. Of my clients recommended me a low dosage supplement form for kids.

can I ask GP to help medication without full diagnosis?

anytbing to help calm her down and regulate her.

What has DD had an initial assessment for?

What type of medication do you mean? Most GPs won’t initiate mental health medication for children even with a diagnosis. Same for ADHD medication.

What non-medication support is she receiving?
