does anyone know of any safe ways to find friends for a ND teen?
My son (14) is an extrovert autistic. This basically means he will bounce up to anyone and try and be their friend. He is kind but misses social cues and doesn’t recognise when to back off. He also doesn’t necessarily have the same interests.
He loves football, both playing and watching, but he doesn’t fit in with most typical “football” teens. He also loves Amoung Us, Star Wars and Jurassic world - he plays Jurassic World Alive for hours. I would love to find him a similar friend that he could talk to on the phone about these hobbies (obsessions).
