DS us 18 just left school last Friday to go to adult day care at the moment he gets pip not sure if he can claim any other benefits. But he's got no photo ID, but I think he would need some so not sure what ID he would need..

Depending on DS’s capital and income, he or his appointee may be able to claim UC. People can claim without photo ID.

I've informed the UC as they will be taking him off my claim as well as the child disabled element etc.

That is for your claim.

DS or his appointee need to make a claim in DS’s name, if he is eligible. That won’t automatically happen just because DS is no longer on your claim.
