I am wondering if anyone can help me I sent off a PIP application for my son. He’s just turned 16. I phoned Pip today for an update and they told me they had the medical back from the assessment team. I’m assuming he’s had a paper based one, but they had to send it back to the assessment team, but couldn’t tell me why phoned the assessment team and they said that they can’t see on the system that it’s been sent back they can only say that it’s been completed their rent and sent back to DWP. Does anyone know the reasons why they would’ve sent it back or is it happened to anybody else? Many thanks.

This sometimes happens. Try not to worry. It could be for a number of reasons, including needing more information.

You might get a phone call, I did. They were v nice and practically led me into the 'right' answers. By that I mean that if I didn't give enough depth of answer, they delved deeper.
I got a very good outcome.
