DD is 16 and she has been asking for an assessment for a year or so. We filled the CAMHS form in but I am not at all hopeful that she will get through the system before she becomes an adult.
She doesn’t struggle massively in life, she is happy, she has a job and friends and is doing well in her studies because she is consciencious and extremely dogged 😂
An assessment would be mainly for her own awareness and so she can know more about herself.
Could anyone recommend a well qualified, preferably (also NHS) clinican in London or the Home Counties who might see her for a not crazy cost? I’m not looking for expertise on the cheap, and what I really don’t want is to get a diagnosis I don’t trust.
