Our DD is 23 Audh. When she’s nice all is ok, but then out of nowhere she can be so rude, especially towards me. My OH says it’s probably because of the ADHD and not being able to regulate her emotions. I ‘m inclined to disagree and don’t see why I should put up with this. It’s left me feeling tearful a couple of times.
OH has spoken to her earlier and told her it’s not acceptable but I’m not sure how to deal with this moving forward? Can this be ADHD or just plain rudeness.

Same here unfortunately. She's lovely, funny, intelligent but boy does she save up some horror for me.

I do things for her that make her life easier like clean her room, make her bed, put fresh flowers in her room so she knows I care and do her laundry.

I try and ignore the nastiness and keep quiet and out of her way. It's usually a sign that something has happened that he's having difficulty dealing with or she's just overtired or overwhelmed.

She'll come out the other side, eventually until then make sure you have some friends and hobbies to get you through Flowers

This could be because of the ADHD. That isn’t an excuse, but it could be an explanation. Is DD on medication? What support is she receiving?

I agree with this DD is much easier when she's doing regular exercise.
