Good morning all, my 16 year old daughter is disabled and on PIP as we just made the move. I get UC as I have 2 disabled children and can’t work. 16yr old goes to an SEN 6th form at a normal council run SEN secondary school. UC recently asked me if she was still in full time education and I filled in the form they asked and put down that she goes to an SEN 6th form provision but the qualifications they get (basic life skill stuff) wasn’t on the form so I had to tick other and then explain in the notes. UC has stopped my money for her even though she’s still in full time education, is this normal if they’re not in a “ normal “ 6yh form with A levels and BTEC etc? Or is this a mistake on their part? I’ve contacted them and awaiting a reply

UC is wrong. If you don’t get anywhere contacting them you need to request a mandatory review. Life skills courses can count as full time education as the hours criteria is met.
