Virtual ADHD assessment

Hi, has anyone had a fully virtual ADHD diagnosis? I'd like my 18yo assessed and NHS wait times are prohibitive. It's looking like there are only virtual options available for us and there's a wait for those too. Plus-I'm in NI so face to face appointments with someone reputable is tricky. How on earth do I know they are reputable? Help!! My son has ADHD/ASD and waited 3 years on NHS...his assessment took over a year of face to face + phone appointments. I want to make sure it's a proper, throrough process for her too, but I believe there are issues with over diagnosis in the private sector.

DS' was virtual through a private company but I have no doubt that's it's a credible diagnosis. He's also being tested for a genetic micro-deletion that may be associated with ADHD, although that's not the main symptom.

Even the Geneticist said "I don't think there's any doubt about the ADHD diagnosis" Grin

The ADHD diagnosis consisted of a few questionnaires my child filled in, we as parents filled in and the school filled in. That was it. It could have been done with no contact at all.

I don't know if the NHS will accept the diagnosis you would get, but I do think it is doable online unless it is a slightly unclear/ very mild case.
