But can I claim Carer's Allowance for him?

Currently claiming CA for his youngest sibling who gets CDP (we're in Scotland). Can you claim for two children in a household? Or would DH have to claim CA for looking after him?

You can’t claim CA twice. If DS has been awarded the daily living component at either rate and DH meets the eligibility criteria for CA, DH can claim.

Perfect. Thank you🙂 will let DH know he will need to apply as a carer for the eldest.

Unfortunately, he is unable to go because he has a part time job where he lives (he didn't when he was looking into it).
