Pavlov shock watch go DD with ADHD who struggles to wake up?

Has anyone used a Pavlov shock watch? DD has ADHD and poor sleep, and often struggles to wake up. She sleeps through alarms. She has a job for her gap year and will be living away from home so we need to get this sorted. They’re expensive and the reviews suggest they do not do all the things they are intended to do via the app, but if they wake her reliably they will be money well spent as I think she would be likely to loose her job unless we get this sorted, and she’s really anxious about it.

I had a (presumably) older edition of this https://geemarc.com/uk/product/sbb500ss/ when I was 15 or so.

it is loud and also has a vibrating thing under the pillow. I don’t remember how effective it was but I remember it being really loud and quite frankly very annoying 😂 they seem to do other editions that are louder and have a light + vibrating.

i cannot comment on the website as I didn’t order from them and it was 10+ years ago so can’t recommend where to buy from now.

Hi. Thanks for the ideas. The problem is an alarm doesn’t normally wake her, so the clocky would be happily running round the room while she snoozed on! Will look into the sonic bomb but she’s oddly nervous of something vibrating under her pillow as is convinced it’s a fire hazard and we’re trying to avoid ultra loud alarms as she’s in a shared flat where everyone will be doing different shifts so doesn’t want to be hugely unpopular!

Also, you can get alarms where you cannot turn it off unless you scan a barcode (so you could put it elsewhere) and ones where you have to do some maths questions or similar.

would she be more likely to wake up or get out of bed if the lights were on? As you can get alarm clocks that create lots of light (as well as the alarm) or you could get some smart plugs/lightbulbs and set them to turn on at a certain time.

Hi - thanks. She already tends to sleep with a light on so probably not smooth at would help much!
