They didn't call for PIP phone assessment!

Ds changing from DLA to PIP. Already stressed about the call. It was scheduled for 4.30pm but they did say they can call up to 30mins late. It's now 5.30 and they haven't called yet. Should we assume they won't be phoning? Wait by his phone all evening making him stress? I'm so pissed off on his behalf

If they didn’t call last night you should call today. You don’t want it recorded as though you missed the appointment.

I called them around 6pm and they apologised profusely, said there had been an issue with the HCP that was meant to call us, said they didn't understand why nobody made contact to let us know and have rescheduled the assessment for in a couple of weeks time

Haha I literally posted this, had a bit of a hushed, sweary rant to a mate on the phone and got straight on the phone as soon as I'd calmed down a little bit.

Was actually very impressed that they picked up within 3 rings - it wasn't pip that I called. It was IAS so maybe that made a difference in how quickly they answered.
