GCSEs with less group work - Business?

Anyone else got a teen with autism who (understandably) loathes group work? DD13 considering GCSE options. German, and Further Maths settled upon; we need two more. She loves Business-related telly, esp. the (dull) financial bits, but won't the GCSE involve tonnes of group work? Art may suit as it's a solo pursuit, but I gather there's a beast of a practical exam. Any ideas gratefully received!

I can’t help with business studies, but I recommend art unless DD really wants to, especially if she is a perfectionist.

Will DD be OK with the speaking part of German? What other options are available?

Agreed, Art, Drama and Music we're giving a swerve due to the perfectionism - it would be hellish! Other options are R.E, History, Geography, Computing, French. Tricky.
Not fazed by German speaking, which is a welcome surprise.

I am glad you understood the meaning of my post even though I missed ‘don’t’ out before recommend.

If it is a choice between history vs geography, I would choose history if group work is an issue because of the fieldwork.

RS is interesting, IMO.

If DD is good at maths, computer science could be a good option. But, if DD is in a co-ed school it will probably be very boy heavy if that would be a concern for DD.

If DD is good at languages, 2 languages could complement each other. French is less logical than German if that would be an issue for DD.

Ah, yes, French is in the dog house here for not being 'German-ish'! But at least it's learn-as-you-go, so smaller revision mountain. Leaning towards R.S (she's a humanist and quite likes a supervised debate) and Comp Sci (another learn-as-you-go?), with French in reserve. Great to hear you consider R.S interesting - we thought so, too. Geog field trips would be stressy (wellies, mud, bugs all bad). Ta for your thoughts - appreciated. The boys are a lively lot but are a break from the girls' passive aggression and gossiping, neither of which DD can fathom!

DD sounds brilliant! German, FM, RS and CS are good choices.

THANK YOU. Really. Out of my comfort zone, this, trying to 'help' when education is very much not my professional area.
