Should I write in third person - PIP

We've been advised to apply for PIP for DD - 18. I talked it over with her and she wanted to ring up - however needed me to help her answer one or two things. She wants to become more independent and obviously we do too, however she's not very motivated and struggles to fill in forms, should i fill in the form on her behalf as her or talking about her?

When I did dc1s form I wrote it as if talking about dc. Dc then wrote a bit on the last page saying mum had completed the form on their behalf because struggled with this and signed it (this was the advice given to us when we rang and applied to transfer from dla at 16, since completed a review in same format still awaiting decision).

If you are not appointee I would do what @Itwasfinetillitwasnt posted. But if you are appointee, and I would think carefully about whether that is needed, you can sign.

Yes exactly that. I also explained if necessary why dc couldn't do something if it was maybe something a person of same age would be expected to do.
Eg I prompt dc to have a shower because otherwise it would not happen.
