DS is 17..Had issues since age 16 with some ASBO due to being vulnerable and easy influenced.
He is adopted and unsafe birth family all living in same city. He knows where they live. Is it reasonable to know his location in these circumstances?.I have discussed reason why with him

Is it appropriate for DS to be out in the community unsupported?

It is reasonable to wait to know where DS, but if DS objects you won’t be able to force the matter unless he lacks capacity.

We all have one another on Find My Friends. The DC find it useful to see where I am.

It's difficult but I'd talk to him about all knowing where one another is, so that you're not just looking where he is.
