Next month, l have my dd’s tribunal . I am the appointee. Has anyone had one and if so, what was it like? I am so nervous and really need to get this for my dd. Any tips, would be gratefully received. Thank you for reading this.

We haven't apples for PIP yet so I can't be of any use. Are you getting any help with the appeal?

I have a disability advocate but now they can’t commit to be available for the tribunal. Got an appointment booked for Citizens advice soon. Not sure what to expect. It’s so daunting. I really need to win this.

Have you thought of posting in the Chat section? You might get a response in there. Especially at this time.

I'm sorry that you haven't had any real responses Flowers

Been through that with ds, it was a panel of 3.

They spoke to him in the first instance and only when they realised they couldn't get much response they reverted to us.

It lasted about 45 mins with each of the panel asking some questions more or less like on PIP form.

This was a couple of years before COVID.
Good luck.

Thank you @YogaLite for telling me about your experience. I have hopefully found someone to help me. So fingers crossed the tribunal goes well.

Just to add, they basically picked a few of the assessment questions and as soon as they got to the points needed for full PIP, they didn't go any further.

Thank you @YogaLite for explaining about what happens in the tribunal.

Update: @SiouxsieSiouxStiletto @YogaLite
Fantastic news , had PIP Tribunal today and dd got awarded ordinary rate of daily living and basic rate of mobility. I am really happy. It’s only been over 2 years from start to finish.
