Suspect some type of autism in 14yr old daughter

Hi,
I suspect my daughter (14) is on some sort of autistic spectrum. Have read a bit, and think PAD seems to have a lot of symptoms we can recognise.

Have been to GP with her once, talked to school. She doesn't want to talk about it at all. She's always been a 'tricky' child (in the middle of 4 children) Never liked to be told what to do (getting dressed, getting ready, in traffic, anything really) Getting more and more fussy with food, warm food can't touch cold, very limited diet of normal food, but binges on sweets. some days like cheese for instance, next day she doesn't. Have put on a lot of weight. Friendship circle has shrunk radically over the last few years. Just a couple she tolerates now. She gets upset if other people have lied or taken things, but doesn't seem to see she does the same things herself. Lies, have poor personal hygiene. Have always got good feedback from school, until the last year. Doesn't understand when she talks in a rude way, or behaves in a way that might upset people.

Does anyone recognise this?
Grateful for help

Thanks

Sounds exactly like my DD who is currently on the Pathway.

Is she getting any support at school at all?

no, not yet. have finally managed to get school to take it seriously. waiting to hear back from them, re next steps. It's exhausting. she's resisting all conversations, says she doesn't need help... how old is your daughter?
