Our DD is 23 and has a diagnosis of ADHD and ASD. She’s currently in Uni but we’re not sure (nor does DD) that she’ll ever be able to secure a job once the course is complete. She struggles with anxiety although does take medication. DD cannot work part time as she finds it too difficult alongside the Uni work.

She currently receives PIP lower rate but is there anything else she could be receiving either now or if she was not to work?

Thank you, any support or advice welcome.

DD could apply for UC once she leaves university. Some can receive it whilst in full time education, but unless DD meets one of the other exemptions she would have needed to establish LCWRA prior to start of the course.
