I am beyond frustrated with all this. My dd has had 2 hearings adjourned. My dd had top dla for caring. She changed to pip received no points- hence no pip. I am appealing. I am now going to face-to-face hearing with her. Has anyone been to a hearing and what was it like and what was the outcome? Thank you for reading this.

It will be a panel of 3. They will ask DD, and/or you if you are appointee, questions.

There may or may not be a DWP representative. If someone does attend the panel may ask them questions too.

The appeal I did for my own DC was successful. I have been involved in other appeals when supporting others (some I have attended in person with the other person and some I have ‘just’ prepared the paperwork/supported prior to the hearing) and all but 1 of those have been upheld too.
