Hi everyone, my DS has been offered a place at central foundation in London and I wonder whether anyone has experience with this school for SN kids. My DS is 12, almost 13 and is dyslexic, he also has adhd and his current school has been unsupportive, so we are hoping that central foundation is better but I don't know anyone with boys at the school, so any info would be much appreciated

Hi, I just wondered if you took the place and how your son is getting on? I'm not happy with my sons current school and we went to see CF today. My son is 13 and waiting for asd assessment. Thanks

My son is Yr7 at CFSB and enjoying it, although moving from a small primary was a shock. He's got high-functioning autism but not needed any extra support as yet so I can't comment on the SEN provision but can give a general view of the school. Rigorous, strong academic expectations, good discipline although not punitive for the sake of being punitive (this put us off Mossbourne when we visited)

Friends with a child with more significant SEN had the school as first choice as their visits impressed them; they then moved to another part of the UK so didn't take the place, but the impression they got was that SEN provision was excellent.
