PIP video assessment as appointee

I'm applying for PIP for DS 16 (changing from DLA) and I am his appointee.

We have had a video appointment come through for a few weeks time. Does DS need to be at the appointment with me, or is it just me? He's in Y11 and it's mocks, so I'm keen for him to miss as little as possible (especially with all the other appointments he has).

DS will need to be present but as appointee you can answer the questions.

Thanks- I called them to change it as he has a mock at the actual time. They have changed it to a telephone assessment and said that he does not need to be there which is a relief.
