As always we are looking for things ds might enjoy. I thought it might be a good idea to pool ideas and experiences of what works, what really didn’t and what you would like to try.

Bowling has been surprisingly successful for us. They have sessions where the lights and noise are less intrusive and he can use the ramp to play and have the gutters up if he wants.

I really want to try canoeing with him but am a bit freaked out in case we fall in.

We have adult stabilisers on bikes and a dirt scooter so when it’s cooler we are planning some traffic free cycles.

My niece is a big fan of creative digital things, she really enjoys creating shapes & numbers collages out of random pics she's finding on Pinterest and some months ago she was into digital scrapbooking. She doesn't doing same things in their "classic" form, the textures do bother her a lot, but she really loves it when done on her PC.

Target shooting, DD went to a small friendly local club.
There are loads of aids and adaptations that disabled people can use, I've just seen this organisation online

Photography used to be an expensive hobby but most basic phones have a decent camera these days.
I found this tripod to use with a phone on ebay for a very reasonable price, sure others are available. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/183447339671

Colouring, it's a nice relaxing solo pastime.
