Does anyone have any recommendations for a Private diagnostic clinic in London - specifically for ASD.
Chelsea & Westminster wait list is 5 years 😱

I'm looking into both the Effra Clinic and London Autism Assessment Practice
The former also cover ADHD whereas the latter are autism specific but seem to be very Tribunal focused on their webpage

It's a box ticking exercise - we've know DD is on the spectrum as Chelsea & Westminster flagged her at age 2 (!) to be reviewed when she was older. We never took her back as she/we didn't 'need' the diagnosis. Now she's at secondary and the wheels have of course come off she herself has asked me to get cracking with finding somewhere. I still want the practise we visit to be best in field. I also prefer a multi-clinician approach rather than just person making the diagnosis

You could try the Essex Autism Service based in Colchester (they also have an office in Kent for some reason). Wait time was 6 months when we booked for ds2 last November.

We have just gone through www.privatechildpsychiatrist.co.uk (sorry not sure if that will work as a link). She works out of The Priory in Roehampton as well as other clinics in Surrey. Self-funded clients only but for us it was around 4 months from initial meeting to assessment. It may not meet your definition of "multi-clinician" although two clinicians were involved in the final assessment.
Exactly the same experience as you op - we've managed up until secondary but the wheels have really come off this year.
