We are meant to be leaving on holiday this morning. DD (12) with ASD and bad anxiety is refusing to get in the car. Other DD now in tears. DH is getting annoyed. I've tried all the tricks and methods I've learnt but she just says she can't do it. Three hours since the car was all packed up and we ready to go. Sorry, just needed to vent. Aaarrrgggghhhhh

Thanks @PacificFish . I feel like her world is getting smaller and smaller and stuff she did when younger no problem she now can't handle.

We gave up on Wednesday and tried again on Thursday morning (early before she had too much time to ruminate) and we got away! Here now and she is a bit happier, even though she keeps saying that she just wants to go home.
