My dd2 has just been diagnosed with ASD at the age of 16. She is close to her sister (dd1 age 20) but there have been very difficult times in the past. I’m looking for books/websites that might help dd1 put those difficult times in context given what we now know about some of the difficulties dd2 would have been having in relation to emotion management & understanding. And also might help her respond helpfully in the future. Plus help dd2 not blame herself/feel as bad when things are a bit spiky. Most of the things I’ve been able to find so far seem to be aimed at a much younger age group. Or are things I should be reading but a bit too detailed for dd1 to be expected to go through. Any recommendations very much appreciated. Thank you 😊
